Some day's, I take a wee while to get going in the studio, responsible thoughts of dinner, the washing machine or more horrendous news stories (why?) and what am I actually doing? - flood my head and distract.

Eventually, these are driven away, and I start to paint, and the "I will home by 7.30 for tea" just vanishes.

At 9 pm tonight, I closed up the paints, took off the pinny, put my jacket on, and then picked back up the brushes for a few more minutes...
